Jill Hershey Joins The Financial Services Roundtable
June 25, 2009—Washington D.C.—The Financial Services Roundtable today announced that Jill Hershey has joined the company as Vice President where she will lead the Roundtable’s lobbying efforts on regulatory reform.
"Jill brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on the financial services industry and Capitol Hill,” said Steve Bartlett, President and CEO for the Roundtable. “Her recent work on a variety of fixed income securities including municipal bond issues makes for an excellent addition to the Roundtable team."
Hershey joins the Roundtable after working for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and the Bond Market Association where she oversaw the areas of taxation, securities regulation, bankruptcy and insolvency law, derivatives and pension regulation and a variety of other issues affecting the bond markets.
The Financial Services Roundtable represents 100 of the largest integrated financial services companies providing banking, insurance, and investment products and services to the American consumer. Member companies participate through the Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives nominated by the CEO.
