Financial Literacy Month
To emphasize the importance of financial literacy, in 2004, the United States Senate officially designated April as National Financial Literacy Month. During April, several financial institutions and nonprofit financial literacy organizations host promotional events and develop instructive resources that focus on financial literacy. The ultimate goal of the National Financial Literacy Month is to teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits and make informed financial decisions.
