Roundtable Financial Scholarship Foundation

Established in February 2008, the Roundtable Financial Scholarship Foundation grants scholarships to students who wish to pursue careers in the financial services industry. Recipients are selected based on equal parts academic achievement, character and financial need. The Honorary Chairmen for 2011 are Christopher M. Condron of AXA Financial, Inc., Thomas A. Renyi of BNY Mellon Corporation and Donald J. Shepard of AEGON.

Robert Della Polla of the University of Scranton is the recipient of the 2011 Roundtable Financial Scholarship in honor of Christopher M. Condron, Retired Chairman, AXA Equitable. Ana Luisa Avila of Rutgers University is the recipient of the 2011 Roundtable Financial Scholarship in honor of Thomas A. Renyi, Retired Chairman, BNY Mellon. Malgorzata Krakowiak of Johns Hopkins University is the recipient of the 2011 Roundtable Financial Scholarship in honor of Donald J. Shepard, Retired Chairman, AEGON USA, Inc.

Past Roundtable Financial Scholarship winners include Caleb Alderman from Rutgers University in honor of Thomas A. Renyi; Robert Jackson from Johns Hopkins University in honor of Donald J. Shepard; Joseph Nolfi Golden and Jessica Richman, from Stanford University in honor of Richard M. Kovacevich; Susan Guo and Wayne Hu from the University of Georgia and Michael Hanlin and Katelynn Higdon from Southeastern University (FL) in honor of James H. Blanchard.
