Community Service 2012

Mission

Community Service 2012 highlights Roundtable member companies’ efforts to improve the communities in which they work, and strengthens partnerships with non-profit partners and public policymakers.

Leadership

The Chairman of Community Service 2012 is Manuel Sanchez, President and CEO, BBVA Compass, and the Vice Chairman is Bharat Masrani, President and CEO, TD Bank.

Focus

Financial literacy is the focus of Community Service 2012. The continued efforts of our member companies to improve financial literacy in the communities they serve will help achieve the level of financial knowledge necessary for consumers to make informed decisions.

Financial Education Resource Roadmap

Participation

Community Service 2012 highlights the community service and financial literacy projects by member companies and their year-round commitment to their communities. All member companies are encouraged to report project data during the year on a quarterly basis to the Roundtable.

The Roundtable promotes member companies and their community service and financial literacy programs through media alerts and press releases, by inviting members of Congress to attend their events, and by providing free premium items for community service and financial literacy projects.

Company of the Week

Company of the Week is a feature that communicates the variety of Roundtable member companies’ community service and financial literacy projects. Through Company of the Week, companies can showcase their community involvement and innovative ideas to help their communities.

National Sponsors

Member companies can further support Community Service 2012 by becoming a National Sponsor with a $17,500 contribution. National Sponsors are listed on all promotional materials such as news spots, ads, printed materials, tee-shirts and banners.

Non-Profit Partners

The Roundtable collaborates with 14 non-profit partners. Nine of these non-profit partners specialize in financial literacy. For free financial literacy curricula proved by the non-profit partners and member companies visit the Financial Literacy Corner.
